Ren opened the door to the antique shop, the old-style bell chiming above the door. The smell of old furniture and dust wafting about him. He wrinkled his nose and continued inside, looking at all the dusty items. "I don't know what you find so appealing about all this junk. It's all so old, and dusty!" he said to his friend, Sumuki. They had known eachother for a long time, most of their childhoods spent together. He looked at her as a younger sister, and sometimes gave her the same priveledges as one, seeing as he was an only child. Like now, he was treating her to a day out, with the promise of buying the antique she most wanted. As long as the price was within reason, of course. He turned to her, then. "See anything you like?"

Sumuki bounced past him into the store. "No," she said giggling, "I haven't even looked at anything yet silly!" The she laughed and bounced away agian, taking care not to break anything as she went.

He rubbed a finger along the edge of an old beurau and blew the dust that collected on his finger into the air, causing himself to sneeze. "Well hurry up, because I'm going to die of dust inhalation if you don't figure something out fast!" He walked further into the stoor, past a curtain into a second part of the stoor which looked much too dusty to be safe to go through. He stopped in front of a desk that looked as though it had been meant for shaving in the morning. It had a mirror on it and a place to hold a razor and pot of shaving soap.
He bent down so his face was level with the mirror and looked into the slightly tarnished surface. He noticed that his reflection seemed odd. Maybe the glass is warped, he thought to himself, and touched the smooth surface. It didn't feel warped, though there was still something off about his reflection. He looked almost...feminine? And his eyes seemed lighter than usual. He had always thought of them as a very dark blue, like the deep waters of the ocean, but here they looked almost crystaline. He was spooked.

Sumuki looked around, she couldn't see Ren anywhere in the shop. But she did see a musty old curtain, she figured Ren had gone through there to escape the dust or something. Why'd he hate dust so much? It never hurt anyone, and there sertainly was no way it could kill you.
She walked over to the curtain and hesitaited before entering, whatever was behind there was probably pretty valuable, she might break something. She would have to be extra carfull. As she pushed the curtain aside a cloud of dust was sterd up from the floor. Sumuki ignored it, but she laughed to herself about what Ren would have said if he had been nearby.
The room inside was dim, almost to dim to see, and the dust in their air was so thick Sumuki could taist it on her tung. It was gross. She looked around then spotted something, a small wooden box sitting on a table not far from her. Sumuki ran over to get a closer look. She picked up, but as she did, something cought her attention.
A mirror, against the wall to her left. Her reflection, had not picked up the box. Infact, her reflection was still looking at it, with something close to distain. Sumuki Slowly walked over to the mirror, as she got closer, her reflection seemed to change and look less and less like her. Though it was ovesly still her reflection, the girl on the other side of the glass had shorter, redish hair, and brown eyes. A complete contrast to Sumuki's own black hair and red eyes.
When she reached the mirror she noticed something writen along the top. It was just barely legable and Sumuki had to squint to read it. "Ego arcessere pons inter ille quis ego habere et ille quis ego habere perditus. hm... wonder what that means..." She mumbled before looking back down at her refelction, it was looking back at her now. She shrugged- it shrugged- and she turned to leave. But before she could get any considerable distance away, her reflection, reached out and grabbed her arm. Sumuki screamed as she turned and tried to pull herself away.

Ren was just turning away from the mirror when he heard a scream from the other room. "Sumuki!" he called. Suddenly he felt a hand close around his wrist. He looked back and saw that the hand was attached to an arm which was coming out of the mirror he had just been looking at. Those crystaline eyes were staring at him, and more and more of the person he had thought was his reflection was coming through the mirror. He suddenly realised that his wrist felt hot, so he jerked his hand out of the person's grasp. The hand grabbed at the edge of the table and pulled, and the head came through the surface of the mirror. His breath was coming faster as he began to panic, the scream forgotten in the face of this new strangeness.
He watched as the figured pulled itself fully from the mirror, crawling across the desk until it was able to sit and pull it's legs out. He was terrified and amazed that it fit through the mirror. Once free of the frame of that mirror, it turned to him with a look of endearment in her eyes. "Hello, Ren," she said softly. He stummbled back into a bookcase and fell to the ground. It could talk, and it was female. It was the reflection he had seen and thought was himself! She saw his fear, and clasped her hands together. "It's so nice to be able to talk to you. You can call me Raven." "It....talks," he murmered to himself. In a panic, he jumped up and ran for the back room, deciding to grab Sumuki and get out of there as fast as he could. Coming into the back room, he saw Sumuki...and someone grabbing her. He gasped and stumbled again. What was going on?

Sumuki managed to rench her arm free of her reflection, and fell backwards into Ren. She didn't acnoledg his presence, just watched as the figure gracfully stepped out of the mirror. She possed for a moment, seemingly getting her barings and then stepped carfully towards Sumuki- who had shrunk back into Ren with feer.

Meanwhile on the outside of the antique shop, the owner was sweeping the porch. While the dust blew aside onto the road, a silouette wandered closer through the clouds. The owner paused his broom and looked past the dust at the arriving figure. "Ah, Ardos.." The owner stated. A long haired character stepped forward, wearing a standing cloak and bandage over his eyes. "Hello again sir." Ardos replied dryly. The owner stood up and scratched the back of his balding head, "How was the surgery?" Ardos paused shortly. "Unsuccessful" He finally said. "Oh.." The owner frowned in pity, " Sorry to 'ear that Ardos." Ardos simply kept walking towards the entrance, without any sign of emotion or distain. The owner tried to stop him on the way inside, " W-Well you know there's always next time, eh? Falling Star?" He was desperately trying to cheer him up. Ardos stopped but did not look at the owner. "It's good to be back sir." He continued inside, the owner sighed. The door shut behind Ardos.

(I accerso bridge among he anyone I government and he anyone I government ruin? ) Ardos carefully palmed his hands over the curvitures of priceless sculptures, identifying them for placement. He stopped at a particular one and placed it into a box at his shins. Ardos sighed quietly in despair, softly touching the cloth of his eyeband. His eyes did not function, though he wears a blindfold around them. When his accident happened, it left his eyes blackened and obscene, a sight Ardos does not feel he should share with the world. Suddenly he heard a scream nearby, he turned around to the storage in the back. A grim thought passed through his mind, " No.. Please no..." He rushed towards the storage. Without his eyesight, Ardos had learned to rely strongly on his other senses in substitution. He entered the room at full speed, tossing the curtains aside viciously. "Please!" He yelled, "Stay away from the mirror!" He tried to direct Ren and Sumuki out of the room, but even while yelling, his side was facing the mirror. " But why?.. Brother..." An ominous voice whispered. Ardos reflection seemed to turn towards him, even if Ardos wasn't facing the mirror. He looked identical to Ardos, only his hair was a deep shade of blue. The reflection smiled and reached out of the mirror, grasping Ardos collar. He struggled to get away, but the reflection stepped in closer. His foot came through the mirror as well, the second it touched the floor, an ice cold wind blew through the room.
